The main focuses are core subjects, being functional maths and English skills up to level 2 and ESOL up to level 2,and relationship building. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide high-quality, personalized tutoring to students with SEN\nTo assess learners needs and plan and implement tailored and structured programs of learning in line with young persons EHCP outcomes\nMake sure the children feel safe and secure\nWork closely with teachers and parents to track student progress and adjust learning plans accordingly.\nFoster an inclusive, positive, and encouraging learning environment.\nMonitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and educational professionals.\nHelp students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.\nPromote independent learning and help students build confidence in their abilities.Key Skills and Experience:\n\nProven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (ideally 2 years experience)\nExperience teaching either or a range of English, maths and science\nKnowledge of different SEN categories (e.g., autism, dyslexia, ADHD, speech and language needs) and how to deal with them best.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and school staff.\nPatience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to a wide range of learning needs.\nEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one\nA passion for education and helping children achieve their full potential.\nA teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) or relevant SEN training (e.g., SENDCO, SEN TA experience) that is UK recognised
